All about Squid Game! Hot Trend On Netflix
The new movie "Squid Game" is coming to netflix on October 30th. It's an amazing story about a young boy named Squid, who's name is actually Tony, and he tries to change his life around after he gets out of jail for something that was not his fault.
He is in jail for 180 days. He is trying to stay out of trouble after he gets out by getting a job at the local church that his grandma goes to (he never went when he was little because his parents were really abusive when he was younger even though they were divorced).
Squid, being so young and naive, falls in love with the Pastor's daughter. The movie takes place on Halloween night where Squid goes under disguise as a monster called "The Slenderman".
Tony has a friend named Michael who tells him about this new thing called a "meme" which can change how people think about you. Tony decides to wear the costume hoping it would get girls attention but instead gets lots of negative attention from the police being accused of being the Slenderman kidnapper.
The whole movie is about Tony trying to clear his name and show that he did not do what people thought he did. He then tries to get back with his girlfriend by showing her who he really is underneath all of the makeup in order to save his family's church from closing down.
People should either watch this movie right when it comes out if they are fans of "Family Guy", or record it, because it will definitely be worth watching even though it only has a 3 star rating on netflix at the moment.
Personally I will give this movie 4 stars because I love older animation where they don't have high budget computer animated graphics but instead are animated by hand.
If you want to see how this was made, there is a special on netflix called "Before they were stars" which goes into the making of the movie. It's an amazing documentary about a group of people working together for a common goal even though they come from different backgrounds and have different attributes that make them unique.
When their team won an award for best animation I cried because i love inspirational underdog stories where everyone can work together to achieve something great.
